We're planning to tage an out door revue under the lights of , Die rodeo ground. The committee made up of Mr. and Mrs. William Itawllna. Mr and Mrs. Louis Carlhon. Mr. and 1 Mrs. Keith Ken. and Mr. and Mrs. ll.iroM Snider, all of lone, met with us at the fair annex building on June 27 lo make some preliminary plans. The style revue, one of the highlights or the 4 II fair, has grown in such popularity that the fair pavilion no longer holds the number of Interested people who wish to attend. We visited the Umatilla county fair at Her mlston last year and saw them stage an outdoor revue It gave us Ideas! Tentative plans are to erect platform in front of the east side of the rodeo stands. Stage dec orations and lighting are still In the talking stage. All-in-all this will prove an Interesting and outstanding affair. Now, If oldmanvveather will cooperate! We also met with the com mittee of Pine City people who are going to make the -1 11 float lor the fair. Meeting at the Leo Ash bock home on June 22 were Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Witherrito, Mr. and Mrs. Wlllard French, Mr. and Mrs. George Lulanl, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Daly members of the committee. Tiey have made big plans to produce a float currying out the 411 motif and "Soaring 60V theme. They're even talking of entering the float In the Pendle Ion Hound l' dies up parade, This will also be a -First." Jim Bar- nett who is lone Fire Chief will be coordinator and he-will be called In case there is need for ther equipment. Each rancher s bein;j furnished an informa ion sheet on who their warden s and other pertinent informa ion which will be attached to heir phone directory.
