D. and Council Bluff. Iowa. Their daughters Patty, Becky and Kathy atayed at the home of Strutz's brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Strutz, In Nampa, Idaho. The Strutz's are moving to Hermls ton soon where Strutz Mill be assistant coach at the senior high school next year. Mr. and Mrs. Don Downey and sons Jerry and Wayne visited three days last week In Estacada at the homo of Mrs. Downey's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Callff. Jerry and Wayne remained there to visit this week. Visitors last Thursday and Frl day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Thornhlll were Mrs. Thorn, hill's grandparent. Mr- and Mrs. Kenneth Polley of Boise, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Broten of Tacoma, Wash, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Broten's bro ther and slstcr-In-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Harwood. Millers Attend Beach Meet Mr. and Mrs. Bob Miller werei In Cannon Beach Friday and Saturday where Miller attended a meeting of the national board of Village Missions. Mrs. Russell Miller and Mrs. Effle Miller ac companied them as far as Cor bett and visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Baker. Pat Bcall of Eugene visited the past two weeks at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hayes. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey West and children Larry and Dcwena are on a ten day trip to Edmon ton, Alta. Week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Thorpe were Mrs. Thorpe's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith, Union, and their granddaughter Linda Smith of Haines, and Smith's sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Smith, and Jacqueline Bernasconl of Seattle, Wash. Attend Garden Convention Mrs. Charles Anderegg and Mrs. Walt Wyss were in Gear hart Thursday through Saturday to attend the state Garden Club convention. Mrs. Anderegg then Joined her husband at their Long Beach, Wash, summer home, and their daughter Barbara returned home with Mrs. Wyss. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brlggs spent last week at the Anderegg home at Long Beach, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Boothman are on a ten day trip to Williams Lake, B. C. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Carpenter of Renton, Wash, visited at the home of Carpenter's parents, Mr, and Mrs. Dolbert Carpenter three days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Haas and daughter Ronda, of La Pine, for mer residents here, visited at the home of Mrs. Carol Getz Satur day. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Seehafer spent Sunday In lone visiting at the homes of their son-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Garsland and Mrs. Walter Cor- ley. Johnnie and Melvln Gaars land are spending the summer with their grandparents. Beverly Donovan, who taught school nt Salem last year, is here to spend the summer at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Donovan. The Don ovan's and daughters Sharon and Beverly spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Lewis at Ukiah, and at Lehman Springs where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pulley of Ten dleton. Sharon and Beverly re mained at Ukiah this week.
