He plant to work around here this sum mrr and return to Mlnnestoa In the fall. Mr. and Mrs. Don Iletlker kept the boys of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Munkers of Lexington last week. The Munkers went on vacation and the Hellkers took the boys to the Yacht club near Hat Rock on Sunday. Craig and Barry Munkers returned home that evening. . Mrs. David Itletmann enter tained the Three Links club on June 23 with 10 members present Meetings for the summer were dispensed with except for a pic nic on the second Sunday in Aug use at the city park. Plans were made to participate In the com munity bazaar this fall. Hudson Mora To Bead the week end from Portland State College where he la attending summer school. His family will be moving from lone on July 1 to their new home In Bend. Their new addre will be 301 E. 10th. St.. Bend. Willows Grange held a rural fire control meeting Friday even ing with Stan Phillip present to explain It and the procedure for organizing. A follow-up meet ing will be held In September. N. C. Wn. on Saturday to see their son. Mark compete In the water ski tour nament held there. They return ed to Hat Rock and stayed there Saturday night and enjoyed boating and water skiing on Sun day. Mrs. Falls From Horses Injure lone Girls 10NE Marsha Bait daughter of Mr. snd Mr. Donald Ball, fell from horse owned by Susan Undstrom and shattered her el bow. Marsha had been In Pio neer Memorial hospital In Hepp ner since the Injury on Friday. .Sunday her parents took her to Pendleton to St. Anthony's ho, pital where Dr. Smith would care for her and erform surgery on Monday, Also oa Friday. Cheillyn Smouse was riding her horse when the horse fell Injuring the rider. She was to be released turn Pioneer Memorial hospital Monday. She suffered from poss ible nose fracture, neck Injury and cerebral concussion. Ray Heimbigner, Son Enter Water Ski Meet 10NE Mr. and Mrs. Ray Heimbigner and son, Tom went to Odessa, Wn., Thursday, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. II. C. Heimbigner. The Mortons were on their way to Yellowstone national park with their International christian ex chance student, Rlmstraut Wendt, who Is from west Ger many. She has stayed with them one year, graduating from Rose burg high school. They win take her to Chicago to meet the rest of the foreign exchange students, then she will go with them to Washington. D. C. and on to New York where the group will be flown home. Her parents will meet her in Holland. Barnetts Have Tuns Trips Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barnett went to Eureka, Calif. June 2, where thev visited a brother and fam ily, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Barnett They returned June 10, stopping In Prlneville and visiting Mr. ana Mrs. Lonnle Ritchie who years aco lived In the house where Mr, and Mrs. Jim Barnett now live in lone. Also In Prlneville they visited Mr. and Mrs. James How ard, son of Ike Howard. S. Forest Service has announced that the Heppner Ranger district will ob serve the hours of 7 to 4, by the Heppner clock. The local district Is going on daylight saving time in order to make It possible for all fires to be reported on the same time.
