Dick, Jr., Chairman Board of Directors 13-15c U of 0 Announces World Affairs Seminar Subjects UNIVERSITY OF OREGON, Eugene-Africa, the Soviet Union, and foreign aid will be the areas studied in seminars this summer during the fourth annual Sum mer World Affairs Program, held under the auspices of the Uni versity of Oregon's Institute of International Studies and Over seas Administration from June 19 through July 14. With a program designed pri marily for commodity leaders and teachers wishing to enlarge their knowledge and under standing of selected areas of the world and contemporary prob lems, the summer course will include a series of seminars, afternoon coffee hours, and even ing lectures. Students do not need specialized background on the areas of study, but the pro gram is intended for students of graduate standing, according to John Gange, director of the spon soring institute. The seminars planned for the program include one on African economic development, taught by visiting professor Walter Chudson of the United Nations; the Soviet economy will be taught by Robert Loring Allen.
