The nominating committee re ported Mrs Andy Jones as vice president; Mrs Zoe Billings, treasurer; Mm Vernon Russell, corresponding secretary; Mm Ronald Black, recording secre tary. A president Is still to be nominated. Election will be held March 8. Mrs Joe Tatone, state director of Junior clubs, Invited the club to the Junior breakfast May 11 In Portland during the conven tion of the Oregon State Feder ation of Women's Clubs, and to the banquet that night. How to select meat, how to care for meat, how to cook meat by various moist and dry heat methods, and how to develop fla vor were discussed and demon strafed. A roast shoulder of lamb and beef stroganoff was pre pared for sampling by Miss Kir mis, with Landers demonstrating carving techniques Coffee and cookies were also served at the close of the meet ing by the Boardman and Irri gon extension units. Mr and Mrs Sigvald Aase and children Lynae, Sigurd and Eric of Echo were Saturday visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs Ron ald Black. Aase left by bus from here for Portland to attend the national meeting of secondary school principals.
