Hostesses were Mrs. Ruth Lyons, Mrs. Kollin Bishop, Mrs. Seth Russell, Mrs. Glen Carpenter, Mrs. Guy Ferguson and Mrs. Rus sell Miller. Present were Mrs. Claud Worden and Mrs. Lyle Wil liams, mother and sister of the honoree, Mrs. R. E. Eades, Mrs. Myron Watts, Mrs. Don Downey, Mrs. Charles Higuera, Mrs. Frank Marlow, Mrs. Cecil Hamilton, Mrs. Nathan Thorpe, Mrs. Harold Rash, Mrs. Zearl Gillespie, Mrs. Nate Macomber, Mrs. Eldon Shan non, Mrs. Florence Root, Mrs. Bob Miller, Mrs. Claud Coats, Mrs. Walter Hayes, Mrs. Algy Taylor, Mrs. Sigvald Aase, Mrs. Dewey West, Mrs. William Spau lding and Mrs. Roy Rands. Many lovely gifts .were received by the honoree, among them several sent by those unable to attend. Mrs. Dewey West, Mrs. Joe Ta tone and Mrs. Ronald Black went to Moro Monday, to attend a board meeting of the 4th dist rict of junior women's club. Mrs. Black Is district safety chairman, Mrs. Tatone is junior council member and Mrs. West Is record ing secretary for the district. Mrs. West was appointed to represent Morrow county on the nominat ing committee for officers for next year. The Home Economics club of Greenfield grange met Wednes day of last week at the home of Mrs. Gleri Carpenter. Hostesses were Mrs. Ronald Black and Mrs. Joe Tatone. There were 11 mem bers present and visitors were Mrs. Rosa LaChance and Miss Eva LaChance of Tacoma, and Stevie, Mrs. Ronald Black and Mrs. Nate Macomber. Mrs. Nath- j Diane, Mrs. Ray Granquist, and an Thorpe and Mrs. Clyde Tanne- Pamela, Casey Kuhn, and Lynae hill were appointed on the nom - Ac.se. nating committee for officers for ttie coming year. Greenfield grange met Thurs day night of last week at the hall starting with potluck supper at G:30. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Ro aid BJack and Mrs. Joe Tatone. Mrs. Glen Carpenter won the cake in the "cake walk" and Guy Ferguson won the money in the "henk". It was voted to have grange Sunday Nov. 3, at which time grange members will attend ! church in a group, with potluck dinner following at the grange hall. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Califf are the parents of a daughter born Oct. 4 in Estacada. She has been named Vickie Sue.
