Monument News Ansil Martin has been digging a septic tank for the grange hall. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Kelly return ed home Saturday from Portland where they spent the week with two of their sons while they re ceived medical aid. Mrs. Joe Mellor kept the Kelly children who were in school while their parents were in Port land. . The M. M. M. club met at the Grange hall Thursday noon for their Christmas meeting. A large table was spread with nearly everything anyone could wish to eat Iiom fned chicken to cake. AUei wards a business meeting was held and evtryone exchanged gilts. They also fixed a box of gills to be sent to the Pendleton state hospital and included a Check which will be used to buy candy for. the patients. Checks were also made out lor the school and botn churches as club pro jects. The next meeting will be January 5 at tne home of Mrs. tied Mc Willis.
