There weren't many people present because of the bad weather, although the plays were successful. We took in around $7.00 without paying our bills yet. We have started planning for our prom also. The Cheerleaders The cheerleaders are busy mak ing their dresses for basketball season. We hope all the students of both grade and high school will he good sports and corpe to all the games possible. We hope our community will support the team as they have been doing. Band Uniforms Our high school band has had trouble fitting into" their last year's uniforms. Monday, Novem ber 21, at 1:00, the band mothers are going to help us fit them, and take up and let out seams. We, the band members really ap preciate it. O. E. A. Dinner The O. E. A. dinner which was to be held Thursday, Nov. 17, was cancelled until Thursday, Dec. 8. This cancellation, was due to the weather. Ead News! Ml The grade and high school band presents: "A Concert in Swing" Nov. 30 at 8 p. m. at lone school cafetorium. Sophomore Class News Anne Belle Coleman had a misfortune while she was step ping from the trampoline to the bleachers. She was not hurt seri ously. Louise Botts is absent because of illness. In history class Kay and Anne Belle made time chart of Rome and Louise made a map of India. Some like the snow and cold weather we have and some dis like it very much. Movie The Martin Luther film was shown in the lone school cafe torium by Mr. Rickets of Umatil la. There was a nice crowd in spite of the weather. The film was very educational and en joyed by all who attended. Volleyball Game Cancelled The lone high school girls' vol leyball team had a game sche duled for Wednesday, November 16, at Irrigon. It was cancelled lone News The Arnica club met at the home of Mrs. Delmer Crawford Wednesday Nov. 16 with Mrs. Milton Morgan and Mrs. Ray mond Lundell as hostesses. Pin ochle was played. Those winning prizes were Mrs. Roland Berg strom, high; Mrs. Crawford, low and Mrs. E. W. Bristow the door priz?.
