The next week we had an overnight at Stockard's cabin. Nine of us took the trip. We left Friday after school and returned Saturdav evenine about 10:00. While there we cooked dinner in the fireplace, made bread on a stick and baked apples in foil. We slept on the floor. Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt took on this trip. Toward the end of October Jeanne Schmidt entertained the girls by giving a Hallowe'en party where we played murder and had a Ehost story. This party was given to complete Jeanne's last Fire Maker ranK requirement On Hallowe'en we decorated fruit into little men and took them to the hospital for the old npnDle. We went in our cos tumes.
