Thev made plans for their an nual formal Snow Ball dance to be held at the I. O. O. F. hall on Thursday, December 29. It is to be invitational for all high scnooi girls in Heppner, Lexington and lone. Tom Ross's new truck garage was finished Friday noon. H. M. Hanson and Elo Bado vinac of Long Creek were in town Sunday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Crocker and Lonny drove to The Dalles Thurs day on business. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Forrest and two children of Top were Sunday luncheon guests at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Capon. Charles Holmes Jr. and his sis ter Irene Clark with his two boys drove from Springfield to spend the weekend with their brother, Kenny Holmes and sister Lillian Stubblefield and families. They returned to the valley Sunday evening. The M. M. M. club will hold Its regular meeting Thursday at the home of Mrs. Earl Barnard. There was a fair crowd Saturday evening for the dance given by the American Legion auxiliary, regardless of the cold snap that has hit the country. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Forrest and family were dinner guests Sun day evening at the Earl Lewis home.
