Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Thorpe motored to Pendleton Saturday and were guests of Mrs. Thorpes brother-in-law and sister Mr. and' Mrs. Arken. Meeting the Thorps there were Mrs. Thorpe's parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith. Larry Thorpe returned home with his grandparents for an Indefinite stay. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Allen and Mrs. Arthur Allen returned home Sunday from Los Angeles, California where they were called by the death of Mrs. Allen's mo ther Mrs. Roy Rordell who was killed in an auto wreck June 12th near Ely, Nev. The Aliens left by way of Ely.
