Honors Past Matrons and Patrons Past Worthy Patrons and Past Worthy Matrons night was ob served at the meeting of Ruth Chapter No. 32, Order of Eastern Star Friday evening at the Ma sonic Hall. Preceding the regular lodge meeting, a potluck dinner was served to all Past Patrons and Matrons. During the lodge ses sion, a program was presented in their honor at which time Mrs. Fred Hoskins, Jr., sang a welcom ing song accompanied by Mrs. C. C. Carmichael and Mrs. Walter . Beckett gave a reading, "The Trials of a Worthy Matron." Fol lowing lodge, bridge, pinochle, and Chinese checkers were played with Mrs. Sara E.. McNamer re ceiving high, and Mrs. Charles Vaughn, low, for bridge; in pin ochle Mrs. Tom Wells received high and Frank Wilkinson, low. Burt Cork made high score in Chinese checkers. Bridge Club Meets At Thomson Home Mrs, J. G. Thomson entertained the Wednesday Bridge Club at her home on S. Court street. Two tables of bridge were in play with Mrs. Stephen Thompson receiv ing high score, Mrs. Tom Wilson, second and Mrs. Orville Smith, low. Others present were Mrs. W. 0. George, Mrs. Harry Van Horn, Mrs. Raymond Ferguson and Mrs. Leonard Schwarz. Farewell Party Held For Lynda Lyons . A farewell party honoring Miss Lynda Lyons was given at the Parish House of the Episcopal Church Friday evening with Rev. E. L. Tull, Mrs. Ray Baker and Mrs. Marvin R. Wightman as pat ron and patronesses. Members of the freshman class and a few other classmates were guests. Miss Lyons received many lovely gifts. The installing of shelves in the new library was discussed at the business meet ing. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Lindstrom, Mrs. McMill an and Mrs O'Connor. What's Trump Club s At Ferguson Home Mrs. Raymond Ferguson enter tained the "What's Trump Club" Wednesday evening at her home on Hager street. Two tables of bridge were in play with Mrs. David A. Wilson receiving high score and Mrs. Eugene Ferguson, second.' Other guests included Mrs. W. Oscar George, Mrs. Ted Smith, Mrs. Leonard Schwarz, Mrs. Stephen Thompson, Mrs. Harold Cohn and Mrs. P. W.
