Putter Creek Beef. J. C. Lonargan, buyer tor the Frya-t Bruhn company of Prattle, shipped oo head of beef cattle Monday which he purchased on Butter creek. The prices re ranging from 4', to 4l4 cents per pound for steers. There are several flue bands of steers n the Hutter creek country," said Mr. Lotwrgsn to the Tribune, "but the ranchers are not disused to sell just now, as they vsh to realise better price. There are about Hoi head of teeisinthe Baylor Johnson and Mc Carlby holding, mlijcli are in excellent condition. By June all these will be practically disposed of, but not, I think, at a much higher figure than is being aked at the prettent time. Another reason why the ranchers are not in a hurry to sell is that they have plenty of feed to last them until spring, end within the next two months they be lieve they will be able to add to the value of their stock."
