M Feb. IS, 1930, at the age of 69 years. 8 months and 25 days. Fnneral services were held in lone, from the Congregational church, Feb. 17, and Interment was made in the I 0. 0. F. cem etery at this place. Mr Montanden was born in Canton Berne, Switzerland, May 21, 1861. He will be greatly missed in our little city. He was a friend to everyone, loyal and true He was an earnest Christian and a faithful member of the Congregational Church. He was a great lover of beauty, taking especial delight in flowers which he grew in profusion apout his home and shared liber ally with his friends. He leaves to wourn his death a sister and a brother, living in Switzerland, six cousins, Louis, Paul, Arnold, John and Fred Bal siger and Mrs. Charley Allenger, and a host of friends. The funeral services were In charge of Rev, W. W. Head, pas tor of the Congrgational Church. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
