MORGANLIFE Noah Pettyjo'm and family went to Heppner to attend the Rodeo last Friday. Mr. Fay Pettyjohn went to Pendleton last week. Messrs. Harbison, Hal Ely and Bert Palmeteer and family attended the Rod.o at Heppner last Saturday. Mr. Jim Warfold of Morgan Heiithts is working for Mr. Wit lie. E. B.'Gorten found it necess ary to call Dr. Wa'ker, of lone last Friday. Mr. Gorten is in very poor health. Mrs. Jim.Warfield of Morgan Heights called at Hardesta to ee if Mr. Gorten was improving last Saturday. Mrs. Grace Medlock of Cecil was visiting Mrs. Pat Medlock last week. Mrs. Eite Baurenfiend also Mrs. Balcomb called on Mr. Gorten last Tuesday. Mr. Pat Medlock and family spent Sunday with Mrs Hardesty and family, Pat helping saw some wood. Mr! Bob Balcomb returned from a trip to Pendleton and Walla Walla. He says he saw some very fine country but still he returned to Morgan as noth ing equals Morgan. We understand the merchant Mr. Lowe of Cecil is kept quite busy with a pet monkey, even to getting up at midnight to show off the pet monkey to the people, R. E. Harbison and Mr. Ed wards are busy loading out wheat this week. 1 Claude Morgan called on Howard Hardesty last Tuesday.
