Mr. Pie per was also exhibiting some fine specimens of potatoes of the Early Eureka variety of which he is raising quite an abundunt crop this season. If they are as good as they look the Early Eureka is certainly a fine po tato. The Mc Devitt boys, who are getting busy on their 1400 acres, have been making about 38 bushels to the acre so far but do not expect the average for the entire acreage to keep up to this figure. This is Turkey Red and runs 142 pounds to the sack and tests No. 1. Dwight Misner, as usual, made the first shipment out of lone. He will harvest 1700 acres and expects an average yield of 25 bushels. Percy Hughes of Butter creek this week purchased the residence proper ty of B. R. Patterson in this city. CRADLE OF RED. THE Reds are all evolutionists. Evo lution has given them their pro gram and method. They got their in centive of practical evolution from Karl Marx, who got it from Haeckel, who got it from Spinoza, who got it from the Greek philosophers, who got it from Egyptian priestcraft, who got it from the Babylonian priest craft, who taught the transmigration of souls and the transmutation of specie. The Reds believe that all who preach and teach evolution the work ing for the world wide cause of the Reds. They laugh at the rich and watch them pay. They know if evo lution, and collectivism are taught in all grades of our schools that the masses will become Reds and will rise up and take possession of all property and natural resources. The end of a road tells you where it ends. W henever you proclaim that the Htate is everything and the individual is nothing you have determined on program of confiscation. When you say that man's origin is in the lower elements of life, you thereby repudiate the sovereignty ol God and His creative hand, and, you have licensed the world to do as it pleases. If man ia not the creature of the creative hand of Almighty God, then, responsibility and accountabil ity are gone.
