Tha Idaho-Oregon-Nevada cutoff highway, according to letters received by governor Olcott, interlinks all of the national parka in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada and California, and placea San Francisco within 25 hours traveling time from Boise. The highway primarily was a Jor dan Valley project and was initiated about four yeara ago, for the purpose of obtaining better transportation fa cilities for th inland valley. Th movement now haa grown until it haa the support of four states. Both Governor Olcott and Secre tary of Stat Koaer will giv address es at th celebration which start to morrow and continuea nntil Saturday night. Seiter, well known director of screen eomidlea, haa scored again with "Boy Craiy," in which Doria May registers her third successive hit under the banner of R-C Pictures. Boy Crazy," a fast-moving farce, is the attraction at the Star Theatre on Monday and Tuesday. An original story by Beatrice Van and cut as tidily as a new frock to fit Doris May, "Boy Crazy" fully realizes its chief objective I.e., to get laugha. In the preparation of "Boy Crazy, for which she also wrote the contin uity, Miss Vsn was aided no little by her intimate knowledge of the sort of work for which Miss May haa become noted aa one of the foremost come diennes on the screen. Miss Van and Miss May are close friends. Indeed, they worked the story out together. It is doubtful whether Doris May has ever had a breezier role than that of Jackie Cameron in "Boy Crazy." Miss May, as Jackie, ia a typical Am erican girl without conceita or pro tenses, bubbling over with vitality and wholesome enthusiasm. Doris May's youthful charm and her gift for putting over droll situa tions is given full expression aa Jack ie Cameron, the daughter of a village dry -goods merchant She's the sort of a girt ali the lads want to carry pack- agea for and for whom they are anx ious to apend a last and lonely dim for an ice cream soda. Although tha other girls are Inclin ed to be 'catty1 because Jackie is much sought by the boys, ahe goes blithely on her way nntil a day when a "he" dressmaker arrives in town. Then things begin to happen. Jack ie is bound and determined to giv him a run for his money and so she convert her father'a od fashioned dry-goods store into a "smart, up-to-date gentleman'a haberdashery and wearing apparel shop" and ahe her self presides over the establishment- Needless to state thia leads to more than on merry aituation and the fun thus begun keeps on to the final fade-out Misa May ia supported by a cast of well known playera, including Harry Myers, who won fame aa th Yankee in "The Connecticut Yankee;" Jean Hathaway and Fred Gambold, well known character playera; Gertrude Short and Frank Kingsley.
