While away Mr. Kotson will also take in the Round-lp and then fro on to Hot Lake for a medical examination and treatment. Ben Buschke, who farms the Higgs place in Cason cur, yon. was a visitor to Portland last week, returning home on Thursday. He states that he did not find a great deal of evidence of prosperity in the metropolis, so far as business is concerned, though there seemed to be much building activitv in the residential districts. Harvey Ewlng. formerly a resident ot Morrow county, and owner of a part of the Henriksen farm at Cecil, was a visitor in Heppner Saturday.
