The temporary State Farm Fureau organization cannot become a fact until twelve county Farm Bureaus have ap proved Its plans. Whether the State Farm Bureau co-operates with the Na tional Federation depend? upon the vote of these county organizations. This is the farmers' business. The farmers are organizing, this organiza tion is six years old: last year it had 1,500,000 members; can you beat that for a record? It ts the strongest voice the producer has ever raised in agricul tural and marketing1 questions. It will be heard. Will you help in the shout ing? Local people who love the magnc art will have an opportunity to get an eye full of bewildering illusions when Davis, Master Magician, appears here with his program of magical feats, Davis is scheduled here for the even ing- of Tuesday, November &th, at the Star Theater. He is one best in the business and his entertainment is elaborately staged. Davis does all the old time feats or magic and adds to the list a new line of sleight-of-hand work which is most bewildering to say the least. He has been called "The Man Who Mystifies" and his list of il lusions includes his famous trunk trick which has so far been incapable of solution at least from the audience's side of the footlights. In this trick Davis is bound hand and foot, tied up fn a mail sack, locked in a trunk, after which the trunk is securely roped. The whole Job is done by local folks. Of conrte Davis jumps out almost as soon as the last knot is tied on the ropes, but just how he does it is a rather dif ficult question to answer. He slips in and out of handcuffs with a most amaz ing cleverness and he does a hundred one other stunts which at times almost make the cold chills run up and down your spine. .Local folks are already discussing his appearance here and doubtless he will be greeted with one of the largest Lyceum audiences of the season. Andy J. Cook was up from Putter creek the first of the week. He ir with the road crew down there and ex pects to be working on the creek for the next six months or more. Ray-Dutnon. L. D. Neill was in from his Butter creek ranch for a few hours today and conversed with the county court on road matters. Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Chidsey departed for Portland Wednesday morning.
