The two great national political parties this year chose as their standard bearers, men who devoted years to the newspaper profession. One of these men is as fa miliar with the inner workings of the country print shop as will be found anywhere. As a result of their nominations, and in spite of what the vote may decide, the fact remains that the next Presi dent of the United States will be a newspaper man. AVliat greater tribute could be paid to print-craft T These men attained their success in life and gained the confidence of their fellow men through giving service.
