Strait and Dan Roadglb of Ariel, Wash., arrived In Heppner last week by auto and left Monday in company with Mr. Strait's nephew, Leo Sill, for Ditch creek on a deer hunt. Messrs. Strait and Roadglb have been seeing the northwest for several weeks and have been enjoy ing the time camping out wherever night overtook them. E. E. Miller, lone auctioneer, was a business visitor In Heppner last Friday. Mr. Miller, who officiated at the recent sale at the E. L. Padberg ranch on Rhea creek, says the sale was a big success, the horses and wagons especially bringing fancy prices.
