Huebner, Sand Hoi low. OBITUARY. Mrs. Sarah Benedict was born in Kites county, Iowa, in the fall of 1872, and moved to Oregon in the spring of 1885, settling on Butter creek in Morrow county. She was married to Mr. W. P. Benedict In 1891. Mrs. Benedict passed away In this city at 10 o'clock on June 20th after an illness of about six weeks. She left three children to mourn her loss: Robert O. Benedict of Walla Walla, Washington; Goldle Hess and Alvln Benedict of Pendleton. She also leaves three brothers, Jim Ayers, of Master Gilbert Mahoney, oldest Butter creek; Wm. Ayers, of Hepp- sou of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Mahoney of ner, and Chas. Ayers, who resides In ' Portland, spent a few days the last the East.
