The winter poison campaign for he rabbits, so well organized by Mr. 3rown, County Agent, was cs every one knows unavoidably postponed. Vlnter poisoning is to be commended and encouraged, tut the rabbits are here now. The following receipt is giving plendld results over much of the county: . I part pulverized strychnine (alkaloid.) I part brown sugar or part sacharine. IS parts common table salt. Mix dry, taking good care that too dust is inhaled. See that all rabbit pens are well supplied with this mixture, and that bates of one half table spoonful each are placed around exposed fields. To properly protect" livestock, use cne of the following devices: Take a stake 2x2 and drive in the ground leaving the top only four Inches above ground; then bore an Inch hole In the top of the stake and place- the bait in the hole. Or scatter 2x4 blocks 4 in. long with holes bored in the sides around the field and place the poison in them. This will entertain bunny for the summ'.-r .we feel sure.
