A Ford car received the worst cl the battle Tuesday morning on Main street when meeting a broadside charge from a Hupmoblle. Jack Hughes was driving the Hupmoblle and lost control of the machine when the hand throttle remained down. In turning to avoid landing in the creek near the Main street bridge, Hughes collided with the Ford, which was driven by a young man by the name of Clabough. Neither driver was In jured, but the left front wheel of the Ford was demolished from the impact.
