After spending their lives on the open prairies they are brought suddenly to conform with the usages of good society. The ab rupt transition and the immensely humorous results are to be shown at the Star Theatre on Friday, April 13, In the Bluebird Photoplay, "Love's Lariat," with Harry Cary leading an exceptionally clever company of camera-actors. Coincident with the com edy elements In the picture-drama there is an intensely engaging love story, to increase the general Interest In the story, and Olive Fuller Golden Is the handsome heroine. W. W. Bechdolt was a visitor in Heppner from his home near Hard man yesterday. He has been unable to get any Spring plowing done, ow ing to the lateness of the season, and it was the middle of February before he finished up his threshing, conse quently his grain has not reached market yet. Prospects for good crops in that section are good, according to Mr. Bechdolt but it will depend en tirely on Spring sowing. Some heavy drifts of snow still linger but are fast disappearing since the warm er weather lias set in. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Dillon, of Hood River, were In Heppner over Sunday, being called to this city on account of the death of the late John W. Ras mus. Mrs. Dillon Is a sister of Mrs. Rasmus.
