Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnston and children were Jordan and Scio visit ors Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Thomas of Jordan accompanied them to Scio, where they visited at the H. S. Johnston home. The Lyons and Fox Valley schools were dismissed Thursday and Friday, the teachers being in Albany attend ing the county institute. Dellia Wrslenhouse and family are now located on the property be longing to Ella Lyons. Del has been quite busy building a new poultry house and cow barn on the place, which adds tn the general appear- ancr and conveniences considerably. Mrs. Ella Lyons and youngsters were up from Kingston Monday evening visiting relatives and attend ing ihe radio <lance at the hall. Little Ixola Surry who has been visiting her grandparents in Idaho th* past two weeks arrived h-ime Saturday, Mra Joseph Barry of West Slay ton was a Lyons caller Wednesday.
