The generally accepted method fo r washing woolens consists of squeezing the garm ent gently, five o r six tim es. In the soft suds. No rub Htaln* F irs t Thorough cleaning or laundering are best protections against moth damage, but often it's not possible to clean garm ents or certain heavy item s of bedding. In this case, go over the a rtic le very ca re fu lly and rem ove spots and stains, since these are the firs t points of attack by moths. I f you have, however, resorted to spot and stain rem oval only, it's an excellent idea to hang them out- of-doors on a day when there's a good, b risk breeze.
