L. Brantley, The loss was covered by insurance. EAST SIDE PHARMACY African Exploits Of Beebe Attract Many To Benefit Lecture Telling of 36 months of exploits and experiences in west Africa, Ashland's lecturer-explorer, Chan ning Beebe, held a large crowd of listeners engrossed in the Llthia theater Wednesday night during a benefit presentation of the local branch of the American Associa- tion of University Women. “From Ants to Elephants" was the theme of the explorer’s lec ture, which featured colored slides, native costumes, trophies and other exhibits collected by Beebe during his sojourn on the dark continent. Mrs. Charles M. Guilbert, Mrs. J. C. Miller jr. and Mrs. E. G.
