It may seem a bit severe treat ment for members who may be in nocent of actually committing a crime themselves, but it does go to show that people can’t be too mere fact that the membership ship cards. Although Banks or other leaders of the congress may be the guiding light and inspira tion for acts outside tile law. the mere fact that the membership was not wise enough to divine its mistake would not absolve it of an equal blame.
