^ * 4 . arora Observer Entered as secoDd class matter March 88, 1811, at the postoffice at Aurora, Oregon, under the Act o f March 3,1879. Geo. E. Knapp, Editor and Publisher EDITORIAL Opinions of the Observer. Already the ball has opened up and eandidates for office in the na tional campaign have their hats in the ring. Senator McNary and Mayor Baker are straightening up their fences to capture the republi can nomination for U. S. Senator, while Milton A. Miller is an ack nowledged suitor for the Donkey laurels, with ex-Senator Chamber- lain in the offing. While Fred L. Gifford has deniedhaving aspirations for the senatorial toga, there are those who maintain that sufficient pressure by the three K ’s would bring him into line. At all events there will be a pretty contest when the time comes, and up to the present time it is anybody’s game. 50 MONEY B Y W M . It’s all wrong. It’s altogether wrong to set such a value on mon ey. We are not In this world to make money.
