that he sold this year $450*worth o f!
strawberries from a 2-acrc field, as
well as $1500 worth o f plants. The]
plants were all sold to California j
growers.

a 2 acre tract. But so far as the crop
is concerned, it is much less per acre1
than that grown by Fred Schneider
of Aurora, who took $150 worth o f '
berries from, a quarter o f an acre— •
at the rate o f $600 per acre. These
results show thafr enterprise, hard
vvork, and good Willamette Valley
and are stuff o f which success is
made.
