CAPITALIZATION OF TIRE CONCERN GOES UP TO 10 MILLION An increase in the capitalization of the Oayton Rubber company, makers of the Dayton Airless tire, to 10 mil lion dollars is announced here by Louis K. Geil of the Pacific Garage of Al bany, agent for the product in Jack son, Benton, Lincoln and Linn coun ties. "This means an immense impetus o the business and the erection of several new units to the present fac tory at Dayton, Ohio." said Geil to iay. He stated further that: "Two Chicago men will be added to the Directorate of the organization as financial interests of that city are taking part in the increased activit ies. R. L. Delisser, an expert of long experience will be the new head of the sales department, which will necessity be greatly increased and ex panded . "Last Year sales were approximate ly $3,000,000." he said, "and with the new organization sales for the cur rent year will reach aproximately $7. 000.000. Construction of the new buildings will begin within the next 30 days, according to John A. McMil lan, President of the Company. The new buildings will be modern fire proof buildings. Detailed plans for the enlargement of the entire plai.t have been prepared." LEBANON FARMER BACK HIS FARM II. E. Buelow has returned to Leb anon, afier an absence f several months, and has bought back his farm of 231 acres south of tow,, thai he sold last fall to G. H. Nye- After leaving here Mr. Buelow and family spent a couple of months with his brother at Hood River, then went to Ann Arbor Mich., for a visit with relatives, and where Miss Buelow stopped to take a course in music. They then went to Long Beach Cal., where they spent a good part of the winter. Mr. Buelow and sVi also visited the Klamath Falls section of Oregon to look a! the country with a view of going into stock raising there, but whcn they reached there the ground was covered with sr.ow, so they did not get a good look. In all "their travels they saw no country that they liked better than th Will amette valley, so they returned here. Freeman, died at Crahtrer yesterday afternoon at four o'clock following a brief illness front pneu monia. Mr. Freeman was born at Spring Grove, Iowa, Feb. 17, ISS4 and moved with his parents to Chicago and from there to Minnesota. Moving from that place to Oregon nine years ago. Mr. Freeman is widely known in his community having been engaged in the general merchandise business at Crnhtree fur some time. He is sur vived by his widow and four small children, also, his parents Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Freeman of Sulem.
