The funeral of the late Silas Wil
liams Wat held Sunday from the Fort
miller Funeral Chapel. Following the
services the body "was shipped to

Williams died Friday at 'a ripe old
age at his home east of this city. He
was long active in religious work in
Linn County and was one of the best
known Baptist ministers in this part
of the state.

mother and Miss Kreig the daughter
of one of Lebanon' prominent mer
