On the western slope, however, the valleys form excellent reservoir sltea for collecting the win ter rains, though they would often have to be treated to prevent losa by percolation. The problem of the water supply of Jerusalem haa been attacked by such noted men aa Hezeklah who con structed a tunnel which la today an al most unexplalnable engineering feat Solomon, Fontloa PUata and Herod. Host of life's great mistakes are due to Insufficient knowledge. In the early days of the great war battles raged on the eastern front Tbere are the great lakes and marshes. Victory as a rule came to the man who knew the ground best. One of the great gener als made It his program to lure his opponents Into the lake region and then deliver swift blows in the time of his foes' bewilderment The difference be tween grades of mental power Is not so great but It's the training and the knowledge and application that makes the great differences between men. When a man's ready to do his own rough work he Isn't lll.ely to have things "put across on him." The ten derfoot has always been a Joke among his fellows. He la common halt Let him show a little aggressiveness and the regulars will respect him more. Blunders he will make, hut he will re deem them and himself by his attempts. Twin Brides. The strangest welding ceremony 1 ever witnessed was a double wedding of twin sisters. It was not only out of the ordinary but a little uncanny to aee the father walking up the aisle of the church with two brides, one on each arm, both dressed exactly alike la white satin trailing robes. They were so much alike that in the excite ment of the moment the future hus bands could not tell them apart and claimed the wrong brides at the foot of the altar where they stood with the father. The two young women al lowed their future husbands to be fooled until the preacher asked the fatal question, and then the mistake waa made known, much to the embar rassment of the men. This remarkable test showed conclusively that Three-Point Cantilever Springs exclu sive with Overland, are the greatest improve ment in riding comfort since the introduc tion ofpneumatic tires. They protect the car from road shocks and prolong the life of every part. They enable the wheels to hold better to the road. They give greater comfort under all road conditions. They do away almost entirely with side sway and rebound which twist and rack the car. Diagonal attachmentof the Three-Point Springs at both ends of a 130-inch Spring base gives the steadiness and smooth riding of the heavy car of long wheelbase.
