They left Wednesday, June 20. Mrs. Bishop and five children have always lived here and it will leave a big blank in the community, but we all wish them the very best in their new location. Mr. and Mrs. E. Brown and Glenna motored to Paradise, Calif., over th»* weekend to bring Mrs. Brown Sr. home with them. She plans to live here for an indefinite period. The Pirkey youngsters have the measles and the Fleischers have chicken pox. The last day of Bible school, the pink eye showed up. Manley Jacobson Weds Mrs. Jess Lewis of Arcata, Calif., became Mrs. Manley Jacobson Monday evening in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Harvey at his home in Carson City, Nevada. Welcome to Table Rock. James Vanderpool is in Fort Lewis for two weeks with the Oregon National Guard unit. Mary Myers and Lucile Smith .visited Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bigham Thursday evening. They are visiting his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Les Bigham, Central Point, ’or a few weeks before taking up his duties as a minister in Whiting, Iow’a. Mrs E. Brown and Mrs. Verde Moore are teaching at the Church of Christ Bible school for two weeks. The school began Mon day. Meadows, Mek void Earn Top Grades ♦ Frank Meadows and Gordon Mekvqjd, both of Central Point, received perfect grade point averages during the spring term at Oregon Technical Institute which ended June 8, according to word from the registrar’s of fice this week. Meadows, studying auto body and fender repair, earned a grade point average of 4.00. Mekvold, studying diesel mec hanics technology, also earped a grade point average of 4 00. Honor roll grades indicate work which is outstanding or of better than average achivement. A grade point of 4.0 shows work far above minimum standards of the institute and is the highest grade ftiven.
