THANK YOU We wish to thank everyone who has said such complimentary things about our paper, and this is not to criticize or find fault. We think Central Point is a fine llttlf, town and since coming here have found some very fine friend ships. Would like nothing better than to live here ail our lives. But all this pays no rent, taxes, paper, ink, fuel, etc. Many of our readers are very punctual about paying their sub scriptions and some of our business people advertise freely, (we think you could almost tell by the business they do, which ones we mean.) We would like to serve others as well. In regard to subscriptions to the American, those who have had the paper free for the past four months are coming in almost daily and re newing their subscriptions. May we hope others will do the same. Only hv such cooperation can we hope to succeed In our effort to give this community a real home newspaper.
