The Sherman County Observer, Moro, Oregon, Friday, The Observer Office Prints County Paper* The printing office of the Sher man County Observer has been work ing excess time since Monday morn ing in the setting into type of the big two page advertisement announcing the closing out sale of the Moro Trading company. In addition to puting thia into type for printing in the Sherman County Observer wc have also printed half of the Wasco News-Enterprise paper this week and one third of the Grass Valley Jour nal’ and also all of the Shernun County Observer. . All the cuts used to illustrate th advertising was cast in the office oi the Sherman County Observer with u.e exception of one on the first page of the two page announcement. Thif office is a subscriber to the Meyer^ Both advertising service of Chicag< and each month receives the ipater.ai to cast approximately three hundred cuts that can be used in illustrating advertising for any sort of publicity that is desired. This service is en tirely free to advertising patrons of the Sherman County Observer. A telegram wa* filed at the Moro office of the West ern Union telegraph company at 11 o’clock that morning and was sent from here at 11:05 a. m. This is a- bout 3 p. m. in Chicago. It was specified in the telegram ►hat the matrice should be sent to Moro by air mail. Postal department cancellations show that the packag* »vas mailed at Chicago main pos. iffice at 6:30 p. m. September 24tl md that it was received at the ah mail field at 10 p. m. the same eve - ning. The package left Chicago by air plane mail was dropped at Salt Lake City, from which point it was brought to Moro by railway, leaving MSalt Lake City at 6 p. m. Septembei 26th and arriving at Moro Mondaj fternoon at 4 o’clock p. m. • Charges for air mail service is 16 enU an ounce or fraction of an unce, all such mail being classed ai . rst ciass or letter mail.
