Under the heading: How Can we Make Prosperity stay) the Engineer ing News presents a very interesting discussion of ways of mitigating the severity of hard times. It appears to be a pretty well set tied fact that Mr. Bryan is to be the democratic nominee next year and Mr. McKinley that of the republican party.
