He then decries this news paper’s advocacy of the State of Washington’s little business a bridge across the Columbia at Biggs Rapids. Neither are private business. And this editor is again as sailed for saying years ago that the idea of a bridge at The Dal les smelled like Celllo’s fishery. For the benefit of freshness and to bring the comment up to date we reiterate it. There is not now, nor ever was, any economic or geographical reason for building a bridge at The Dalles. It was done for the pride and vain glory of Second street.
