Holland Johnson on agriculture said farm prices will l»e lower on farm products in the coming year, and consum ers won’t have the buying ¡xiwer as before. Also taxes and interest rates will be higher. Mrs. Harland McDonald said January 9 will fie family night for the Home E? club members. A pot luck dinner at 6:30 followed by an evening of entertainm ent is planned. .Mrs. Holland Johnson on Health and Safety reported 500 traffic fa- taliities in the state during the year. Each one should endeavor to correct this. Bill Huck on insurance reported liability rates will go up 25 per cent this spring. The secretary read the q u a rte r ly report going to State Grange. Rufus Grange voted to participate in the tri county visitation pro gram w h k h is planne dat this time. The new sashes of the musician and Home Ec chairm an which the grange ordered were received and given out by the m aster. Harland McDonald was presented a past m asters pin. Mrs, Hazel Engberg of Spokane, Wn., w*as present and spoke a few words. Roland Johnson says the coun ty conference will be Monday January 13 at 12 noon. Everyone to bring a sack lunch. Grange will make the coffee. The next Pomona meeting will be at Rufus Eeb. 8. George Fox, m aster, says he hopes to have the road signs and build ing project completed by the end of this year.
