Many of the veterans have no other source of income. After paying the veterans for making tlhe poppies the rest .of th e n fcs divided half for the State Child Welfare Center and half for the local unit to be used for child wel fare only. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Ruggles and family drove to Prineville Sunday to bring her mother, Mrs. S. L. Boyce back with them. She had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. L. M. Fischer and family. Mrs. Boyce left Monday for her home in Portland.
