Mrs. Lida Ragsdale came up from The Dalles, where she was visiting, to attend the picnic Sun day. She was accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Christianson, who will teach school in Moro next winter. Mrs. Hazel Lake of Bend came Sunday to attend the historical picnic at DeMoss Springs and to visit relatives until Monday after noon. when she left for her home. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Duncan and family are enjoying a visit with her mother, Mrs. Rice, who ar rived recently from New Mexico, in which state she teaches. visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Art Allegeier at Monmouth, and with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Petry at Culter City. Mr*. Grace Zevely* and Paul Cook are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Busse and will remain so Paul can attend Bible school here. Mr. and Mrs. Ix>uls Sather and Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Thompson left Sunday for Albany to attend the grange state convention. Friendly refreshment Look for the tavern with refreshing Olympia on tap. Mrs. Josephine Tillman of Vancouver, Wn., was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Roy Belshee for a few days this week. John DeMoss came back from Puget Sound to attend the picnic Sunday and meet his old friends around the county. Roy Belshee Is taking things easy for a few days after having fallen from a ladder while doing some repair work at the garage of his sister Mrs. Edith Burnet.
