Baber The bazaar and food sale held last T uesdav by the G rass Valley Rebekahs a t the I.O.O.F. hall was a great success, over $300 was made. Mrs Bud B rinkert won the quilt and Alfred Payne won the crocheted baby carriage robe. The R ebekahs wish to thank everyone for th eir . patronage which was greatly appreciated. Mr an d Mrs A. A. D unlap and Mr and Mrs H erm an Peters were Sunday dinner guests of Mr and Mrs Joe Bibby. Mr and Mrs C. L. Tallm an and family of Odell spent S un day visiting her sister, Mrs Bovce Blaylock and family. Mr and Mrs E rn e st Blaylock left last Tuesday for California to visit her brother in National City and other relatives and friends. Mrs Amelia Peterson accompanied them and will vis it her son and fam ily in Los An geles. They plan on being gone about three weeks. Mr and Mrs John B uether returned home W ednesday from Chehalis, W n., w here they spent several days visiting her sister, Mrs M ary W edam and other relatives t w h o w ere visiting there. Episcopal church services will be held Sunday Novem ber 14 at the M ethodist church in Grass Valley at 4:30 by the Rev. E. E. Taylor of The Dalles.
