Dean is in the ordnance department. A dozen men and women from Moro were in Wasco Wednesday night to attend the meeting of the Sherman County club held there. Mrs Daisy Byers went to Portland with her daughter, Evelyn, last Friday to remain a week or so visiting with her daughter, .M rs I H. M. Norton and family. Clarence Sparling and Blaine Damon came from Portland Tuesday night and remained un til Wednesday noon before re turning home. Mrs O. A. Ekstrom came from Portland Monday and returned to her home Wednesday, visitinq while here with Mr and Mrs Roy Belshee. Karl Landstrom and daughter. Maris Lou, drove from Portland Saturday night to spend a few hours with his parents in law, Mr and Mrs L. L. Peetz.
