Quite a number of local younir people attended the masque ball at fossil last rnday. The May ville grange met last Saturday- Several visitors were present from Fossil. A dance was given in the local grange hall Saturday nifcht All present enjoyed themselves. The Odd Fellows met Saturday niuht with a large attendance. Young Finn Thomas made a business trip to Fossil Sunday. Fossil must be a busy town on Sunday for this is not the first time he has had to be there on that day. . u Church services were conduct ed here Sunday afternoon by the Methodist minister from Fossil. Miss Alice Galbraith is visiting friends and relatives in this neighborhood. - F. A. Stinchfleld went to Port land this week to buy furniture for his new home. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Shaw visit ed the former's sister at Trl fork this week. John W. Hire and Simia WpIIs were united in marriage on Wed nesday evening at the home of the bride's mother. Mrs. L. J. Jones, the present pastor, for another year. This is good news for Rev. Jones, aside from being an able and in teresting speaker, has given en tire satisfaction in every way. Rev. T. S.
