INTEREST J Tom Hoover, of Fossil, a broth er of Mrs. Reisacher and Mrs. Portwood of this city, came in on the local last Saturday even ing, and will spend Christmas at home. He is a student at the State University. Lester Wade was an over Sun day visitor in Condon this week. C. E. Kennedy came up from Arlington last Saturday and stayed over Sunday. On ancount of the absence of Hartshorn he will play the cornet in the orches tra at the dance tonight. The Hillsboro Congregational church has extended a call to Rev. G-W. Riggs, of Park Place, Ore. He was pastor of the Condon Con gregational church for several years and about a year ago,, ac cented a call to the church at Park Place. While there he was instrumental in building a new church edifice and to strengthen the cause of his denomination in that section of Clackamas county If he decides to come to Hiils boro he will take charge of the work the first of the year. Washington County News. Miss Anna Hansen who has been nursing Jim Cameron, re turned to her home in Portland last Friday morning.
