After several piano selections by Miss Lillian Ranney and vocal solos by A. B. Robertson, all enjoyed "hearts" until a dainty luncheon was served by the young ladies. IL Edwards moved his f am ily from the McPherson ranch where he has been attending to his farming interests for the past few -weeks, back to his home ranch near town last Friday. W. N. Putnam left Sunday morning for the Willamette Val ley where he goes in search of a permanent location for himself and family. Mrs. Wright left Sunday for Portland where she will visit in definitely with her sister. She was accompanied by her son Jesse. v Mrs. J. F; Thomas is spending the week at .the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Crane. Mrs. A.'M. Smith has been suffering from a severe attack of neuralgia (he past few days. Miss Grace Beeson went to Con don Monday to remain over Thanksgiving. G. B. Dukek and A. Beeson were visitors here from Condon a few days last week. W. A. Darling, who has been here for several days, canvasing the Grange Hall, returned to Condon Saturday. Mr. Brown, of Kent, wa3 a business visitor here the first of the week. Kenneth and Marsch Welshons attended the Thanksgiving Ball at Condon. Miss Emma Anderson was a passenger to Condon Wednesday evening. J. A. Towle of Rock Creek is hauling hay for Grant Wade this week. Mr. Wade will have about 100 tons baled, which he will de liver to the Kerr Gifford Whse. for storage. The Raymond-Bell Co. which held down the boards at the Ar mory. Hall last evening more than pleased the large audience with their rendition of the Gold en Giant Mine." The play was a most intersting one and the different members of the troupe did great justice to themselves. Tonight the company will render "The Missouri Girl" which has been a tremendous success all over the United States during the Dast seven years. It is a cood nlav entertaining and laugh able and all should attend to give support to dhe of the best troupes that ever came to Condon. "Yankee Doodle Boy" on tomor row night and Sunday evening "The Holy Cross" an extra fine production which few can afford to miss. .'. Big Benefit Week Prepared By Catholic Ladle. The Indies of the Catholic I at present points to a successful church are making all sorts of preparations for their great ba taar siul course of entertainments to be given on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of December.
