Fred Wilson went to Boise, Idaho, Monday where his two horses are to run during the Great Inter-Mountain Fair which is on this week - in that city. Mr. jyilson's Doc White has been knowing up in his class lately and got away with several seconds and thirds at both the Yakima and Walla Walla fairs. The best horsemen of this vicinity predict that Doc White is getting into shape for springing a surprise on the followers of the race meets. Williams and daughter, Miss Bertha Williams, of Forest Grove, were Condon visitors the latter part of last week. Collier and family spent Sunday in this city while on their way to St Johns, Ore., where they will make their fut ure home. Attorney Collier had been contemplating moving from the Wheeler county seat since his defeat in the race for the District Attorneyship last June. Mr. Collier has decided to prac tice his profession in St Johns with his brother. He sold his law practice in Fos sil to Gerard Ryczic, a young at torney from The Dalles. Democratic Speaking. Local Democrats are looking forward with keen anticipation to the coming of Hon. 0. P.
