Judge H. L. Benson, of Klam ath Falls, for many years prom inently identified with Republic an party circles and for ten years one of the circuit judges for the counties of Klamath, Lake and Josephine and Jackson counties has tendered his resignation to the governor to take effect Sept ember 10. He will re-enter the active practice of the law in his home town with C. L. Stone. Judge Benson says he is out of politics for good. He is the fa ther of Rea Benson of the Con don branch of the Arlington Lumber Co. don branch, expects to leave to morrow morning for Portland. wnere ne win reside perma nently. 's local office. He leaves Condon with the best wishes of a host of friends and acquaintances. Mr. Rea Benson, who has held responsible positions with com, panies having extensive lumber interests and who has been in the employ of the company for several months past, will act as manager of the Condon branch.
