Horner of this city, has been engaged by the Pine Ridge district to teach their school Mrs. S. E. Purvine returned from Portland on Monday. Dr. Kennedy of Arlington was in Condon over Sunday. Sandy Campbell returned on j Monday's local from Portland where he had been attending to business matters for , several weeks. . . ; The new section boss for this end of the Condon-Arlington branch is William Campbell whe hails from over on the Connell branch in Washington. ; He has the reputation of being one of the best railroad section men on the coast. Mr. and Mrs. John Skelley of Olex brought their little six year old daughter down from that place Saturday to place her un der surgical care at the Sana torium. Dalles Chronicle. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Boyd are visiting in Portland with Mrs. Boyd's parents, Mr. " and Mrs. George Mann.
